close2myheart is a dating app for adults only. Members must be 18 years or older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, the sexualisation of minors and any attempt to contact or meet minors. This page explains our standards and how we enforce them.
1. Adults only
Registration requires a date of birth, and anyone under 18 is rejected.
Every profile photo is reviewed by our team before it is shown publicly. Reviewers also look for people who appear to be minors.
Accounts that appear to belong to a person under 18 are suspended or deleted immediately.
The app is rated 18+ in the app stores.
2. What is prohibited
The following is strictly forbidden and leads to immediate and permanent removal from close2myheart:
Any content that sexualises minors or shows child sexual abuse (CSAM) in photos, videos, audio, chat messages, profile texts, group names or group photos.
Grooming, soliciting or contacting minors, or arranging to meet a minor.
Sharing, requesting, advertising or linking to CSAM.
Using the app to harm, exploit or endanger children in any other way.
3. How we detect and moderate
Photos, audio and video can be reviewed by our moderation team before they become visible to other members.
Group names and group photos must be approved by an employee before a group becomes visible.
Every report is reviewed. Reports that may involve a child are handled as a priority.
Offending accounts and their content are removed. Every complaint also affects the Karma level of the member reported.
4. How to report
Members can report any profile, message or content directly in the app and can block other members at any time. Anyone, including people who are not members, can also report concerns to our child safety contact:
Child safety contact: safety@mss-services.com
We review reports promptly and treat them confidentially.
5. Cooperation with authorities
When we identify CSAM or child endangerment, or are made aware of it, we remove the content, preserve the relevant information as required by law and report it to the competent authorities in line with applicable law. We cooperate with law enforcement requests.
6. Compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including EU law and Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. We review these standards regularly and update them when needed.
